How many kind of computer OS(Operating System) do you know? Most people use Microsoft Windows series. However, there are more than five kinds of OS in the world such as Unix, Solaris, Mac OS, Symbian, Palm OS, and Linux etc.

I really love Macintosh and Mac OS. However, I try to use Linux thesedays for my future, because MS Windows administrators are very popular in the computer field, and if I have more experience with Linux, I can have more opportunities to get a job, furthemore, Linux is one of very impotant OS for computer networking, and it’s FREE!!

There are also few kind of Linux such as Redhat or Fedora, Suse, and Ubuntu. Nowadays, Redhat is most popular for servers, and ubuntu gets into the spotlight for desktop computer. Before I tried to operate Fedora, but I don’t have a good enough system for it, so I’m taking ubuntu.

I think ubuntu is well organized package for new users. It already includes office program, graphic editor, web browser, and media player, and it’s very easy to install just clicking few times. I’m spending my free time every night with ubuntu, and it has made me comfusing sometimes because it’s very different from Windows, but I enjoy to learn new things. It’s FUN!
